Overview
So, I recently swung by Donut King in Dubbo Square, and let me tell ya, it’s a sweet hub of deliciousness! Nestled in Shop 7/177 Macquarie St, it’s pretty hard to miss, especially if you’re craving a good sugar fix.
First off, the donuts? Oh man, those hot cinnamon beauties are a must-try! I mean, once you sink your teeth into one, it’s like your taste buds just threw a party. And guess what? They also whip up mean hot dogs and milkshakes. Yeah, it’s not just for the donut lovers out there.
The vibe of the place is cozy, perfect for hanging with friends or grabbing a quick bite. Can’t say I didn’t notice a couple of the staff humming along to some tunes while working. Just adds to that feel-good atmosphere, right?
They’re open mostly from 8 AM to 5:30 PM, except Thursdays when they stay open till 7 PM. Parking’s free, and they even have wheelchair-accessible facilities, which is a nice touch.
True, some folks mentioned wait times can be a drag during busy hours, but honestly, the friendly crew and great service make up for it. I mean, if donuts are involved, is there really a rush? Just enjoy the moment, ya know? Plus, who can say no to fresh donuts and good coffee? Seriously, it’s like heaven in a paper bag.
