If you’re ever in Nelson Bay, the Pie Lab is a spot you definitely shouldn’t miss. Located at Shop 6/17 - 19 Stockton St, it’s a bakery that’s somehow escaped my radar until recently. After hearing the buzz around town, I finally ventured in, and wow—what a delightful surprise!
First off, the aroma hits you like a warm hug as you approach. Seriously, you can’t walk by without being lured in. I grabbed a few different pies, and can honestly say, they didn’t disappoint. Each bite is like a flavor explosion! I tried the beef stroganoff, and let’s just say, it was a slice of heaven. The meat was thick and tender, and the pastry? Flaky perfection.
